Environmental Dimensions of Place Service (EDOPS)

EDOPS generates structured environmental signatures for any location on Earth. Signatures are derived from global datasets aggregated at the hydrological sub-basin level — capturing physiography, hydrology, climate, and coastality — with optional historical climate enrichment from paleoclimate reconstructions. EDOPS is the environmental component of a broader Computing Place research initiative.
